All,
I am thinking of initiating a congressman/senator inquiry for my I-485 since my PD is current. I was wondering if anyone communicated with MA senators and/or congressman for this purpose and what their experience was. Also if anyone can share the format for the letter that you write to the senator.

Are you referring to Windows Phone applications? If so, there is no way to do that outside of emulating it on your own. I have applied concurrently for green card under EB2 in August 2007.Received I140 approval and I485 is in process. Have applied for H1b extension and is pending. I am working for a consulting firm at present. I got job offer for a permanent position with the client that has same job duties and title. But the salary is about $20, 000 lower than what my consulting firm is paying now. My labor was applied with a higher salary. Can this lower salary and the difference create problems with the green card processing? Did anyone have any of this experience? Please help!!!
Yes, lower salary by that much will be a basis of denial of your I-485. Your new position must have at least the salary mentioned in the LC.

In 2005 I (american citizen) applied for a I-130 petition for my husband who is an Indian citizen. (It was approved.) Then after that the case was placed under administrative review at the Mumbai embassy in India. It is still pending for over four years now. As of Sept. 2008 My husband recieved a letter stating the petition was sent to the USCIS here for review and possible revocation. We were told to contact them here for our case. They can not find anything on our case.
He is now in Canada on a student visa. Can I apply for a K-3 visa while he is in canada on a student visa? I was told he would need to go back to India for me to apply for a K-3 visa. USCIS agent told me to take the steps in applying for a K-3 visa for him.

My case was filed in EB-3 category (August 2003). I completed a doctorate in 2007. I am thinking of filing in EB-1 and EB-2. Can anyone help me with links for preparing these applications and some dos and donts? Also is there any way to recapture my earlier PD (Aug 2003) for the current filing? Thanks for your help.

What is the priority date?There is an employer who filled PERM for me in October 2008 and the PERM was approved.I-140 was not filled.

F1 requires a intent of non-immigration. By filing I-140 you already showed intent to immigrate (labor approval alone will not be considered intent to immigrate). You will not be able to get COS to F1 from H1B. Even if USCIS grants your COS by mistake you will have hard-time getting a VISA at an American Embassy.

Can we use an Existing Adv. parole Document that was stamped at the POE this year be used Again for Travel Purpose. It has a Valid date and expires in September '08. I am planning to visit europe next week and i couldn't find the 2nd AP Document that was never used.

I entered US on H1 and the officer stamped the I-94 expiry date to the expiry date of the passport. I applied for a new passport but forgot about the I-94 expiry date. Does it mean that my H1B is expired and not valid? Can I re-enter US on the same H1B visa. Or, my H1B is no longer valid and I have to use AP?

You are correct, you have been accumulation illegal stay since your i-94 expiration, when did it actually expire? if it is more than 180 days you better see a good immi attorney!
If you have i-485 pending, then your status is AOS pending since i-94 expiration and is legal.

Can you get second OPT doing a different Master's though you already had Master's. Did something change? The last I checked, you could get your second OPT only if you complete a higher degree like PhD than what you have.

If job / EB2 stipulates Bachelors + 5 years criteria, does it imply 5 years after obtaining the degree or can the experience be cumulative ?
From what I know the 5 yrs are after obtaining the degree. Your job responsibilities should increase in those 5 yrs. That is why when people try to apply under EB2 with Bachelors + 5 years criteria the experience letters play a big role. On the other hand when people substitute the Bachelors + 5 years criteria with MS and a few yrs experience all they need is the degree and a letter from the co-worker that they worked there without having to spell out the job responsibilities.
Having said all this, I might be wrong as I'm not a lawyer.

I am applying for a green card and my lawyer sent me a case number starting with an A and in the format : A-#####-##### for my PERM.
I tried http://pds.pbls.doleta.gov/ but it does not accept case numbers starting with "A".

Please give us more details , don't mention color of the receipts(one is Visa appointment fees and second Visa issuance fee )
as far I remember , the receipt used to get visa appointment should match with what you you submit at consulate. If you have lost it then u need to get another DD and book/if possible edit the appointment deatils
But if you have lost Visa issuance fees , u don't have to modify ur appointment details but sure you need to get another DD
